Tim Riche’ – President
A New Orleans native, Tim came to Madera over 25 years ago and transferred to Fresno State. After completing his BA and a short stint in Los Angeles on the set of the ABC lot, Tim realized he enjoyed working with young people. He worked a year as a teacher at Elkhorn Correctional Juvenile Facility and then was hired to work at Madera High School to teach ROP Video Production and English. Later he proposed Digital Imagery and taught video/photography classes. For the last 12 years, he has overseen the Work Experience Program for MUSD. He sits on the City of Madera ADA Council and is involved with many of our local service clubs. Tim enjoys living in Madera with his wife Christina that works as a Vice Principal for Sierra Vista Elementary. They have three young children: James, Samantha, and Riley who all attend Madera Unified Schools.
Joe Doyland Vice President
Community Relations Officer Educational Employees Credit Union
Joe Doyland is a Community Relations Officer at Education Employees Credit Union in the areas of Madera, Merced and Northwest Fresno Counties. His main responsibilities are community outreach and development, financial literacy and corporate sponsorships. Joe has worked for EECU the past 15 years in various position but for the last 10 as Community Relations Officer. Joe has valuable knowledge with educational foundations from his past and current experiences. Joe currently sit on serval boards, The Foundation for Central Schools, Merced County Educational Foundation, Merced College Foundation, Madera Chamber of Commerce Business and Education Committee and of course Madera Unified Linkage Foundation. With Joe’s experience he hopes to support and expand the Linkage Foundation to new highs with new community and business partnerships. With his efforts he looks to better our students educational experience within Madera Unified and the community.
Debi Bray – Board Member
Debi Bray serves as the President/CEO of the Madera Chamber of Commerce and has been with the organization for 31 years, 29 of those years as CEO. Over the years she has served on numerous boards and committees but currently serves as the Chair of the Madera County Workforce Investment Board, sits on the Madera Downtown Association Board of Directors, the Yosemite Sierra Visitors Bureau Board of Directors, and the Madera Educational/Linkage Foundation Board of Directors. Bray has been recognized with various awards over the years which include being named the 2014 Woman of the Year by State Senator Anthony Cannella, named twice as Soroptimist Woman of the Year in the category of Social and Economic Development, received the Golden Apple Award from the Madera County Office of Education and was presented Rotary’s Paul Harris Award by Gary Giersch.She graduated from Madera High School, attended Fresno City College and the Chamber Institute for Organizational Management at Stanford University. She has two children; Marissa and Clint and two grandchildren; Sawyer and Briar.
David Hernandez – Director of Family and Community Services
David Hernandez is the Director of Family and Community Services for Madera Unified School District (MUSD) who has a passion for helping and educating parents. He is responsible for managing a full range of parent engagement programs district-wide. Mr. Hernandez has 35 years of experience overseeing successful award-winning parent engagement programs and recently added five Parent Resource Centers (PRC’s) designed to assist and support MUSD’s overall mission and quality educational standards. The Department of Family and Community Services works in partnership with a host of community agencies, teachers, students, and parents to promote and maximize learning opportunities across the full spectrum of parent engagement.
